As well as including remixed versions of Brenton's popular congregational songs Holy, All who are thirsty, and Humble King the record introduces worshipers to the well received new songs that he and the band have been playing regularly in concert, Adoration, Come let us return [Gloria], Our God saves and the title track Because of Your love. Whereas the production on Everlasting God favored radio sensibility, the focus on Because of Your love is tighter and more intimate.

Engineered and mixed by Joe Baldridge (Toby Mac, Jesus Freak, Tree63) the album features guest instruments including pedal steel, fiddle, banjo, and string quartet.
